The Psychological Value of Non- Surgical Facelifts
If you have been thinking about having a surgical alteration made to your face and you are firm in your conviction. If you have discussed this with friends who perhaps have had cosmetic procedures themselves. Presuming you have weighed up the pros and cons, having looked at photographs where these things go terribly wrong. If, when all your friends have told you surgery is not necessary and a counsellor has not persuaded you otherwise, perhaps its time to look at alternatives.

To have one last check to see if surgical procedures are absolutely necessary and before you spend thousands of pounds only to land yourself on the U tube gallery of things that went wrong, first answer these questions. Do you have friends? Do you have a social life? If the answer to this question is yes, then move on. When you're out to dinner, do people stare at you and then run to the lavatory? Do you have problems walking through throngs of people or do people stare and keep their distance, thereby making an easy pathway for you?

If the answer to1 and 2 was yes then do not have anything performed on your face, you are okay. If the answer to these is no and to 3 and 4 is yes then perhaps you're right but you should perhaps first check that your hygiene standards dial is set to socialising. Also most people have at least one friend, so maybe you need help in socialising. There are lots of manuals in the library that might help.

OK, so you have friends, you go out and mingle with others and you may have a lover or two but still you are horrified every time you see yourself in the mirror. You probably wonder how others can bare to see you even though you have a sweetheart. Perhaps you think your spouse has really bad taste. Before you go to the beautician, perhaps you need to upgrade from a counsellor to a mental health expert.

I was going to tell you the psychological value of non- surgical facelifts but if you're about to see a psychiatrist maybe I should move forward. The physical benefits of having a non- surgical facelift is that you do not have irreversible damage done to your bone and muscle when the surgeon turns out to be some wannabe from out of town that has moved into an expensive workplace to see his name on a brass plate in Harley Street.

The other main benefit is that non- surgical facelifts cost less, are reversible or they just wear off. There are ways that they can go wrong if you are still stupid enough to go to the cheapest, unqualified Botox pusher or if you have too much done too often. Over all though, staying away from surgery is always better and there are so many choices these days that, if carefully chosen, can give you the face you desire without the pain and regret.
